Whakamuhu Excavation

Whakamuku is a pa that formerly stood on the highest point of the cliff to the east of St Helliers Bay in Auckland. In the early 1980's is was subject of rescue excavation undertaken by the Auckland Office of the Hisotric Places Trust.

One of their Prehistory in Auckland brochures was issued abut the excavation.
